3/4" minus, compacts hard and sheds water. The default for driveways, pads, and road base. Meets MnDOT 3138.
Budget smartCrushed Asphalt
Recycled asphalt that re-binds in summer heat into a tight, low-dust surface. A semi-paved feel at a gravel price.
Septic & drainSewer Rock
Washed clean of fines so water moves through, not around. Also called septic rock or drain rock. For drainfields, French drains, and drain tile.
Lake countryRip Rap Rock
Angular armor rock sized by MnDOT class for shoreline and culvert protection. Holds the bank against ice and wave.

Three generations of moving dirt and rock.
Storlie Construction started with one truck and a handful of acres off Highway 2, and we have been hauling gravel and shaping ground in Northern Minnesota ever since. The pits are ours, the equipment is ours, and the people who answer the phone understand the material and the work.
That is the difference. When you call us, you are not buying from a yard three counties away. You are working with a Northwoods family that has supplied gravel, built roads, prepared sites, and hauled material for neighbors across the region for decades, and plans to for decades more.
If we would not put it on our own land, we will not bring it to yours.
