Acreage properties need different site work than a standard in-town lot. We grade building pads for new houses and outbuildings, cut in long driveways that can run well past what a city lot would ever need, and handle the land clearing that comes before any of it starts. Hobby farm work is common too: leveling a pad for a barn or a machine shed, building up a lane between fields, or regrading a low spot that holds water every spring. If a septic system is part of the plan, we prep the ground for that as well.

Material For Rural Wilton Work

A long rural driveway eats more Class 5 gravel (MnDOT Spec 3138) than most people expect, and we size tandem loads of roughly 15 tons to match the length of the drive, not just a guess, pulling from a working fleet of more than 40 machines to keep rural jobs moving. Fill dirt raises a low building site before anything else happens on it. Black dirt and screened topsoil finish pastures, yards, and garden plots once the grading is done, and washed rock handles drainage around a barn or outbuilding pad. Sand fills in around septic systems and footings where a cleaner material is called for.

Wilton is a straightforward run west on Highway 2 from our yard, past Bemidji and just beyond it. Because it sits close to the main highway corridor, getting a loaded truck to a Wilton address is rarely complicated, even when the driveway itself runs well back from the road. Wilton falls comfortably inside our roughly 50-mile delivery range, so we treat it like any other stop on our regular route.

Do you handle small jobs, like topping off one section of a long driveway? We do. Not every rural job needs a full truckload, and we can size a delivery to a single stretch of driveway or a small pad.

Does spring frost law season change delivery timing out here? It can. Township and county roads sometimes carry the same spring weight restrictions as state highways. We will factor that into scheduling if your project falls in that window.
